01Does LIKHA have preset tour packages?+
No. We use our journey ideas as inspiration, then design the route, pace, stays and experiences around your group. No two LIKHA journeys need to be the same.
02Are the journeys private?+
Yes. Your vehicle and journey are arranged for your group rather than combined with unknown travellers. This gives you more privacy, flexibility and time together.
03Can LIKHA arrange both the North and South Islands?+
Yes. We design journeys across both islands and coordinate the handover between regions so the experience remains connected from arrival to departure.
04Who will look after us during the journey?+
Kathreen and David personally host South Island journeys, supported by trusted local driver guides and partners across New Zealand. Your confirmed proposal will make the hosting arrangement clear.
05Can you suggest and book accommodation?+
We can recommend accommodation that suits your preferred comfort, location and group needs, and assist with the arrangements. Your proposal will clearly show what is included and what is paid separately.
06Can the journey be adapted for older travellers or limited mobility?+
Absolutely. We plan walking distances, vehicle access, rest time and daily pacing around the people travelling. Tell us about any mobility or health considerations when we start planning together.
07What happens when the weather changes?+
New Zealand weather is part of travelling here. We monitor conditions, explain the options and adjust the day when needed, always keeping safety and the quality of the journey first.
08Can LIKHA assist with visa documents?+
We can provide confirmed itinerary and booking documentation relevant to your journey. Visa approval remains solely with the immigration authority, and we do not provide immigration advice.
09How is the price worked out?+
Your proposal is based on journey length, route, group size, vehicle, hosting requirements and any included activities. We do not use a single public package price because each journey is different.
10How do we confirm our journey?+
A 20% non-refundable deposit secures the agreed booking. Your quotation and booking confirmation will show the payment schedule and the services included.
